 I am not a member of IPA/ IHPA/ APTI/ IPGA/ AIDCOC. Can I submit a paper?

No. It is mandatory to become a member of any one of the five federating associations for submitting paper at Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Scientific Sessions. You can apply for annual/lifetime membership with the above associations. Visit the respective association website for details on membership.

 I am not a member of IPA/ IHPA/ APTI/ IPGA/ AIDCOC, but my guide/supervisor has membership.Can I present a paper?

No, you cannot. It is mandatory for the presenting author to be a member of any one of the five federating associations and must be a registered delegate of 73^rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress 2024.

 I want to register for 73^rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress, Hyderabad, what is the procedure?

 I am a student of I /II /III year B.Pharm./Pharm.D, am I eligible to submit a paper?

No. The presenting author should be final year student of Bachelor of Pharmacy, 4^th year student of Pharm. D. (Regular), students of Pharm.D. (PB), & M. Pharmacy or having above/ equivalent qualification to Bachelor of Pharmacy.

 How to do online submission?

For detailed information, log on to www.scientificipca.org and follow the steps.
i. Click on Call for Papers
ii. Read the information available under the heading call for papers
iii. If you are ready for submission, click on Submit Paper
iv. Register yourself by filling all the details
v. Click submit on the same window.
vi. Browse and attach your abstract file separately (MS Word file - .doc or .docx files only)
vii. Click submit
viii. An auto reply will come to your e-mail address, provided by you.

 Co-author is a member of one of the associations i.e. IPA/ IHPA/ IPGA/ APTI/AIDOCC, am I eligible to submit the paper?

No, presenting author is required to be a member.

 Can I submit more than one paper?

No. A person can be presenting author for only one paper but can be a co-author for other papers. In case of any deviation from this, the submitted papers will not be considered for evaluation.

 Which type of files can be attached / loaded for submission of abstract ?

Only MS Word documents and .rtf extension files can be uploaded.

 What are the arrangements for accommodation?

Visit 73^rd IPC website for accommodation and registration related information.

 How do we know about our paper acceptance?

Acceptance of the papers will be displayed on website www.scientificipca.org by 5^th May 2024 and an acceptance letter also will be sent to the corresponding email. Avoid email queries on paper acceptance.

 Will the submitted paper be considered for oral/podium presentation?

No, all accepted paper will be considered for poster presentation only. The best paper from each session will be selected for oral/podium presentation.

 Can I submit hard copy of the paper?

No. Only online submissions are accepted for evaluation and email submission/hard copy submission through post are not entertained.

 Can I get a letter of invitation for visa purpose?

General letter of invitation is available with downloads of this website. However, for those who make specific requests, individual invitation letter will be sent after registration to Indian Pharmaceutical Congress.
