The Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) stands as the most significant annual event for the pharmacy profession in India. Over the years, it has evolved into a prominent platform showcasing the advancements in the field. One of its defining characteristics is its nationwide reach, rotating locations to connect with professionals across the country. The Congress draws stakeholders from all key sectors—academia, regulation, and industry—and serves as an inspiring window into the profession for countless students, leaving a lasting impact on their aspirations.
74th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress will be held in Bengaluru in December 2025. The theme this year is "AI & TECHNOLOGY IN PHARMA: EDUCATE, INNOVATE, EMPOWER". Our team of strong dedicated LOC has already started working on various aspects of the congress. The four important pillars of any successful Congress is scientific programme, the venue, the exhibition and the arrangement/execution of the event. This year , the venue is BIEC, which is rate as the best venue IPC ever had till date. The scientific committee will work with Scientific convener of IPCA to put forth a relevant programme meaningful to all participants.
In recent years, industry participation has seen a decline. This year, we are determined to reverse that trend by designing an agenda that is both engaging and relevant to industry stakeholders, addressing current challenges they face. As India aspires to become a global pharmaceutical powerhouse, it is crucial to simultaneously elevate education and pharmacy practice. We anticipate productive, interactive sessions that will culminate in actionable outcomes aimed at achieving this vision—with a strong emphasis on quality over quantity.

Greetings on behalf of IPCA and 74 th IPC-2025
Dear Pharmacy Professionals and colleagues,
The Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPCA), in collaboration with the
Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 74th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC), is
immensely delighted to invite you to the 74th IPC, scheduled to be held at BIEC, Bangalore
from 19–21, December (Friday-Sunday), 2025.
This prestigious 74 th edition of IPC is being hosted by the Association of
Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), headquartered in Bangalore. The President-Elect of
IPCA, Dr. Milind J Umekar, who also serves as the President of APTI. It has been over a
decade since Karnataka and Bengaluru have hosted an event of this magnitude. The 74th IPC
marks a significant milestone in the state's endeavour to strengthen its position as a global
hub for pharmaceutical and biotechnology advancements. The Congress will provide an
exceptional platform for industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to exhibit cutting-edge
technologies, explore transformative breakthroughs, and engage in discussions on the future
of the pharmaceutical sector. The arrangements were made to accommodate 12000 delegates
from all walks of Pharmacy profession. I am sure that, attendees will have the opportunity to
interact with experts, discover emerging trends, and gain deep insights into the evolving
realms of pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory technologies, and process engineering.
The theme of the 74th IPC is “AI & TECHNOLOGY IN PHARMA: EDUCATE,
INNOVATE, EMPOWER.” The scientific sessions under the leadership of Dr Vandana B
Patravale and her team have been thoughtfully designed to reflect the latest advancements in
pharmaceutical science, practice, and education. The event will highlight the Indian
pharmaceutical industry's dedication to research and development and its commitment to
delivering safe, effective, affordable, and quality medicines not just for India, but for the
global community. In addition to industry-focused discussions, the Congress will also address
key challenges faced by academia, hospital, and community pharmacists, aiming to develop a
strategic roadmap for the future growth of the pharmacy profession.
IPCA sincerely hopes the 74th IPC will be a resounding success, fostering
collaboration, innovation, and progress in the pharmaceutical field.
