    Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPCA)

    It gives me immense pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the 75th IPC-2026, a landmark event that coincides with the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the IPCA. This historic occasion marks seventy-five years of excellence, innovation, collaboration, and service to the pharmacy profession and healthcare sector.

    As we gather in New Delhi from 18–20 December 2026, we celebrate not only the 75th edition of the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress but also the extraordinary journey of Indian pharmacy since its inception in 1947.

    The Platinum Jubilee of IPCA provides an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable transformation of India's pharmaceutical sector. From humble beginnings, India has emerged as a global pharmaceutical powerhouse and the trusted "Pharmacy of the World," providing affordable, quality medicines and vaccines to millions across continents. This achievement is the result of the relentless efforts of scientists, pharmacists, entrepreneurs, educators, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders who have contributed to building a resilient and globally respected pharmaceutical ecosystem.

    Today, the pharmaceutical industry stands at the threshold of a new era driven by innovation, digital transformation, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, precision medicine, and sustainable healthcare solutions. As global healthcare challenges continue to evolve, our collective responsibility is to harness science, technology, and collaboration to improve patient outcomes and ensure equitable access to quality healthcare. The Congress will serve as a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas, showcasing innovations, fostering partnerships, and inspiring future leaders of the profession.

    I am particularly delighted that this prestigious Congress is being hosted by the Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association (IPGA), under the capable leadership of Shri Atul Nasa, President, IPGA, supported by Shri Arun Garg, Secretary, and Shri B. R. Sikri, Chairman, Local Organizing Committee. Their commitment, vision, and tireless efforts, along with those of the entire organizing team, are ensuring that this Diamond Jubilee Congress will be a memorable and impactful event for all participants.

    As we celebrate seventy-five glorious years of IPCA, let us honour the vision of our founding fathers, recognize the contributions of our predecessors, and renew our commitment to innovation, excellence, ethics, and patient-centered healthcare. Together, we can build a stronger, more sustainable, and globally influential pharmaceutical sector that continues to serve humanity.

    Greetings on behalf of the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPCA) and the 75th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC-2026)

    It is with immense pride, joy, and a deep sense of responsibility that we welcome you to the 75th IPC-2026, a historic event that coincides with the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the IPCA.

    Founded in 1947 by Shri M. L. Schroff, the Father of Pharmacy in India, the IPCA embarked on a visionary journey to unite pharmacy professionals, promote pharmaceutical education and research, and advance the profession for the benefit of society. Over the past seventy-five years, IPCA has remained the premier national platform bringing together academicians, scientists,pharmacists, industrial leaders, regulators, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and students under one umbrella.

    The year 2026 marks a landmark chapter in the history of Indian pharmacy. As IPCA celebrates its Platinum Jubilee, we proudly reflect on a remarkable journey that mirrors the growth and transformation of India's pharmaceutical sector—from a developing industry dependent on imports to becoming the "Pharmacy of the World," supplying affordable and quality medicines to millions across the globe. This celebration is not merely a commemoration of the past; it is a tribute to the visionaries, pioneers, educators, researchers, pharmacists, entrepreneurs, and professional leaders whose contributions have shaped the profession and strengthened healthcare systems in India and beyond.

    The 75th IPC, to be held at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi, from 18–20 December 2026, represents a unique convergence of history, achievement, innovation, and future aspirations. Hosted by the Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association (IPGA), this prestigious Congress will serve as a grand national and international gathering to celebrate the achievements of Indian pharmacy while charting a roadmap for the next generation.

    The President-Elect of 75 th IPCA, Shri Rajeev Juneja, Managing Director of Mankind Pharma Ltd. and recipient of the Economic Times Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2023, exemplifies the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship that has propelled the Indian pharmaceutical industry to global prominence. The theme was chosen aptly by President for the 75th IPC is : “Transforming India from Pharmacy of the World to Pharma PowerHouse @2047“. IPCA strongly believe that the leadership and vision of Shri Rajeev Juneja will resonate strongly with the aspirations of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

    The successful hosting of this historic Congress is being spearheaded by the Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association (IPGA), one of the constituent associations of IPCA and a distinguished organization that has significantly contributed to the advancement of pharmacy education, professional development, and healthcare services in India. Under the dynamic leadership of Shri Atul Nasa, President, IPGA, and Shri Arun Garg, Secretary, IPGA, the preparations for the 75th IPC are progressing with great enthusiasm and meticulous planning. The Local Organizing Committee is led by Shri B. R. Sikri, Chairman, LOC, whose vast experience, vision, and commitment are guiding the organization of this landmark event. Together, their dedicated leadership, supported by an enthusiastic team of professionals and volunteers, is ensuring that the 75th IPC and the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of IPCA will be conducted on an unprecedented scale, reflecting the excellence, unity, and aspirations of the Indian pharmacy profession.

    The scientific programme, under the leadership of Dr. Vandana B. Patravale and her team, has been meticulously designed to address contemporary developments and future opportunities in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, drug discovery, regulatory affairs, digital health, artificial intelligence, and pharmacy education. The deliberations will foster knowledge exchange and inspire innovative solutions to global healthcare challenges.

    With arrangements for over 6,000 delegates representing every segment of the profession, the Congress will provide unparalleled opportunities for networking, collaboration, learning, and professional development. Delegates will engage with eminent national and international experts, explore emerging technologies, and contribute to discussions that will shape the future direction of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
